After deciding I was missing out on the best of Craigslist, I decided to download a Craigslist search tool. With a few choices, I finally settled on the Craigslist Reader from Motion Technologies. So, did I like what I got? You bet I did!

The Pros

Search all of Craigslist or just a few cities! The Craigslist Reader gives you the ability to search any city page on Craigslist or all of them at once. Whether you live between two different cities, are looking to relocate for the right job, or are willing to have your purchases mailed, this feature is a great must-have.

Search multiple categories at once. You know you want to buy a television and that would fall under the “electronics” section on Craigslist, but you might be surprised how many sellers list them elsewhere. This isn’t a problem with the Craigslist Reader because you can search multiple categories (or all) at once.

New listing alerts by Email/SMS/RSS-Feed. Although the Craigslist Reader is easy to use, it gets even easier with alerts. You don’t have to keep on searching; get an email or SMS as soon as a job, gig, or for sale item appears that meets your standards.

Editable search results. When you perform a search with the Craigslist Reader, your search results are shown at the top of the program window. Unlike on Craigslist, your list is editable. Want to remove low-paying jobs? Go right ahead and do so. Don’t keep on looking at junk!

The Cons

I was hard pressed to find a Craigslist Reader con. I guess you could say I am buying more things on Craigslist, but thanks to the Craigslist Reader I am the first to find good deals and free stuff. In fact, that is why I consider the cost an investment and you should too; there are many ways to make and save thousands of dollars!

In short, I give the Craigslist Reader a 10/10. What more could you say about a program that lets you search all of Craigslist without restrictions, edit your search results, reply to listings from the program, setup new listing alerts, save your searches and more.

Audio Tower of Babel by Tivoli

Do you have an idea what could you do with 1000 Tivoli’s radio satellites? Maybe that number is too much for you but if you want to build something with them then you will need several of Tivoli’s satellites. This is audio Tower of Babel by Tivoli, it was presented at Milan Design Week 2009 to promote collaboration with Italian designer Giulio Cappellini and the Tivoli. The Audio Tower of Babel got huge popularity in Milan and it is decided to be reconstructed in London, Paris and Moscow. While most of us plod along with our regular Dells and HP machines, the modders are a different breed altogether. Sometimes come up with obscene specifications for their machines. And at other times, they go ahead and create wacky and weird custom cases. Here are some PC case mods created by people who tread the line between obsession and craziness!

5. TIE Fighter by David Barr

TIE Fighter took the first place on the Science Fiction Case Mod Contest. It is made by David Barry which maybe will blew you away.This one presents two things at the same time, the PC and the desk. Pretty cool and of course enough geek to be on this list.

4. Bender by Jan Erik Vangen

One of the most interesting cases which I ever saw. The interesting thing is that this Bender Case Mode is made by scratch and it took 4-5 months to Jan and his friends. Maybe someone will prefer better case with more details but this one for sure is made with love and a lots of creativity.

3. Kana by Katsuya Matsumura

Many of us can’t imagine these days without anime cartoons, strips or some else. This one is Miss Kanna Higashi PC case mod and it is made by Katsuya Matsumura. It is perfect for all anime lovers. If you want to make something like this one, you will need frame with vinyl chloride pipes and then doing the rest like this builder did.

2. Hulk PC by Chris Blarsky

One of the most famous strip heroes now is also one of the most famous PC case mods. This is Hulk PC case mod created by Chris Blarsky. It is done with a lots of creativity, as you can see wires looks like important part of the shape. I’m asking is it strong inside as Hulk is or it has some medium configuration.

1. R2-D2 by Ken Kirby

Finally, the number one. What would you say about people who likes science fiction movies. Many of you are going to say: Geeks. Well, if you sometimes see the person who is actually Stars Wars fan, and it is also a fan of the famous r2d2 robot from it than I think that you are close.

But if that person have and made the R2D2 PC case mod then that person is probably one of the most geekiest star wars fan which you ever knew. This is the R2D2 PC case mod, it is absolutely perfect. We don’t know is Ken Kirby really so big fan of Star Wars and R2D2 but for sure he made this perfect PC case and deserves the first place. FusionMan – Flying Is Not Dream For Him

On Friday September 26. 2008., Yves Rosst successfully completed an amazing challenge and became the first man to fly across the English channel from Clais, France to Dover, UK, using a homemade jet powered wing. FusionMan covered a distance of 35 kilometres in 13 minutes.

He was transported in a plane nearly 2500 metres at which point he started his four engines. More information about this fabulous achievement you can find on official website.

Those are some ideas of the habitats in the future. You will see mostly habbitats which are on water or underwater. I can’t clearly see who is designer of those, I know that I saw somewhere theirs website but from those pictures I can figure out who is. If you know which websites of creator of this is please let me know.

Mercedes Benz Covered With Swarovski Crystals

The aftermarket modification was done by the custom car accessory company Garson/D.A.D to highlight the company’s Mercedes accessories. Not only did the crystals cover every inch of the car’s exterior, but were also prominent inside covering parts of the center console, door trim and even the rearview mirror. The DAD Mercedes Benz SL600 presented by DUB Magazine, which is crusted with over 300,000 Swarovski crystals and whos glamorous look is completed by the Bavarian White mammoth skin seat covers.

Ford Focus Made From Ice

This is a six-and-a-half-ton sculpture of the Ford Focus Coupé-Cabriolet – made entirely of ice. It was crafted two weeks in a giant freezer with special tools from Japan and North America. Creators of this Ford Focus car had a hard job, but they finished it successfully and it is nice to look in something like this one.

Aquaduct Made By IDEO

IDEO cofounder Bill Moggridge presented this concept tricycle that purifies water as the rider pedals, at the Design Indaba conference in Cape Town last month.Called Aquaduct, it was developed to help people in the developing world who have to make long journeys to collect water, which is often unsafe to drink.

The tricycle has a large water tank mounted over the rear axles. Pedalling draws water through a filter to a second, removable, tank mounted in front of the handlebars.Aquaduct was developed for the Innovate or Die competition organised by bicycle manufacturers Specialized, and won first prize. The vehicle seeks to address the two main challenges with water in the developing world: sanitation and transportation. Water-related diseases kill thousands of people each day. Moreover, water sources can be miles away from the home, and women must walk these distances carrying heavy water vessels. The Aquaduct is designed to allow a person to sanitize and transport water simultaneously.

As the rider pedals, a pump attached to the pedal crank draws water from a large tank, through a carbon filter, to a smaller clean tank. A clutch engages and disengages the drive belt from the pedal crank, enabling the rider to filter the water while traveling or while stationary. The clean tank is removable and closed for contamination-free home storage and use.

Jetpod – City Flying Taxi

Developed by the British company Avcen, the Jetpod is a small twin-jet aircraft with newly developed VQSTOL (Very Quiet Short Take-off and Landing) technology – and it’s aimed to make short-distance air travel possible in built-up urban areas by the year 2010. According to Avcen studies, there is a considerable demand for the Jetpod. Avcen’s solution to urban traffic congestion is to provide air taxis which shuttle service between an outer city ring of park-and-fly sites and a number of STOL (Short Take-Off and Landing) strips within the city centre.One of the proposed versions of the civil Jetpod T-100 is the City Flying Taxi. PALV – Personal Air And Land Vehicle

The PALV (Personal Air and Land Vehicle) is a concept for a flying car, which utilizes autogyro flying technology. In fact, the PALV is a cross-breed between a car, a motorcycle and a gyrocopter, and is designed to eliminate limitations in either flying or driving mode. The vehicle is under development by the Dutch entrepreneur John Bakker in close cooperation with the Dutch company Spark Design Engineering and other partners. The design of the PALV is based on the three-wheeled road-going production vehicle Carver One from the Dutch company Carver Europe. The Carver One has a fully enclosed cabin with two seats placed behind one another. The rear wheels are incorporated into one unit together with the engine and gearbox.
