cpdiety i couldnt agree more. the message IS that diamonds are a “blood” stone. A skull encrusted with diamonds. what else could the artist be saying.

I think that this piece, whether intentionally or not, makes a powerful statement about all of the senseless abuse and bloodshed over this “precious” gem stone. If the diamond market weren’t exclusively controlled by De Beers, the value of the platinum used to cast the skull would far outstrip the value of diamonds
